According to an entry listed in the Entertainment Software Ratings Board’s game rating database, the Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 add-on, Uprising, is on its way to consoles.
The single-player expansion pack is available exclusively through digital download, but no announcements have been made indicating that the EA Los Angeles real-time strategy game will be coming to either the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
I contacted EA about the potential for the Japanese faction-focused game coming to either Xbox Live Arcade or the PlayStation Network, and was told that “Uprising is a PC only product and we have no announcements to make at this point.”
With Battlefield 1943 coming via the downloadable services later this year, and a gradual incline in pricing structure ($15 for Braid and Street Fighter II HD Remix, $20 for Watchmen: The End is Nigh), it isn’t beyond reason that a full-blown expansion pack could park itself on PSN.
